The City of Birmingham's Departments of Transportation and Capital Projects have joined forces to create a comprehensive plan for the city's inaugural active transportation network. This initiative focuses on expanding transportation choices in underserved communities.

 

Click the button below to access the GIS map showcasing the entire plan, including existing facilities, ongoing projects with secured funding, and projects that would benefit from ATIIP funding. Refer to the map key below, and upon opening the map, click the 'Layers' button on the left-side menu for detailed information.

The map key is:

               Green= Facilities on the ground

               Purple = Projects that are committed to in various forms

               Orange = Proposed ATIIP Segments

               Dashed Lines and Color = Traffic Calmed Streets
